Fair Ridge Weekly Report 12/17/08-12/23/08



Happy Holidays ! We hope everyone has a relaxing and enjoyable time with your family and friends this holidays !

Nothing worth noting has happened to Fair Ridge this past week which is common around this time of year. Look for things to pick up in late January with the spring season right around the corner and with the interest rates being so low forcing people to buy.

So it looks like we will not have a white christmas here in Virginia :( I was up in New York last weekend and they had about 8 of snow and it snowed all day Saturday which was beautiful. Sunday on the other hand rained all day. Go figure. But we still had fun. About 15 of us went up and got a hotel room for the night in Times Square. It was fun to get away for the weekend but way to much hastle to take the bus up their. Next time I am driving for sure ! We wanted to see that play Wicked but they were sold out and tickets were being scalped at over 200 a piece! So we didnt go. We did a lot of shopping and casual touristy things. I have been there multiple times in the past so pretty much had seen all the main things. That was pretty much my weekend and most of my family is around Fairfax/Vienna area so we will be staying local.

And for my Fair Ridge report, As of today (December 23, 2008 9 AM there are 5 active homes in Fair Ridge and 2 homes that are currently under contract and 1 home that has sold in the last 30 days.
